AspartofthestandingagendaitemontheJointLocalPlan,particular referencewasmadeto:-
(a) the Informal Council session on 16 January 2017. A number of Members commented on the effectiveness of the Informal Council sessionand feltthat thepresentationgivenwasparticularlyhelpful;
(b) theimportanceoftheinformalMemberSessionon 31January2017. Memberswerestronglyencouragedto attendthescheduledsessionon 31January2017,whichwasfeltto providea majoropportunityto influencethe JointLocalPlanproposalsbeforetheywerepublishedin time fortheSpecialCouncilmeetingon28 February2017. Intheevent thatanyMemberswereunabletoattend thissession,theywereadvised tomake contact witheitherthe leadofficer ortheBorough Council Memberrepresentativeson theJointSteeringGroup;
(c) thetightprojecttimescale. TheHeadofPaidServiceinformedthat hugeprogresshad beenmadeandtheprojectstillremainedontargetto meettheinitiallyagreedtimescale.
