TheChairmanadvisedthathe hadaskedtheLocalitiesManagertoattend toupdateMembersfollowinga situationthathad arisenat SouthHams DistrictCouncil,in relationto publicitymaterialrelatingto LocalityOfficers. The LocalitiesManagerpresenteda copy of theproposedpublicitymaterial to Membersand soughttheirviews. Membershadsuggestionsforminor amendments,buton thewholewerecontentwith thematerialanddidnot feelthe needfora furthermeetingtodiscussthis. TheLocalitiesManager alsorespondedto questionsrelatingto the roleofthe LocalitiesOfficers. The LeadSpecialistCommunicationsand Mediaconfirmedthatpress materialwouldbe issuedon theLocalitymodeloncethenewsystemshad settled.
