Council Tax 2022/23 PDF 209 KB Additional documents:
Minutes: CTSP.3/21 Consideration was given to a report that calculated and set out the Council Tax for 2022/23, having taken into account the precepts as notified from Devon County Council, Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority, and the local Town and Parish Councils.
The Officer pointed out that “page 19” of the published agenda papers had been printed over the precept for Malborough Parish Council, therefore the figures were stated for the benefit of the Panel.
It was then: RESOLVED
1. That it be noted that, in December 2021, the Senior Leadership Team, under delegated authority from full Council, approved the Council Tax Base for the year 2022/23:
2. That the Council Tax requirement for South Hams District Council’s own purposes for 2022/23 (excluding Parish precepts) is calculated at £7,061,585 (as outlined at Appendix B of the presented agenda report);
3. That the following amounts are calculated by the Council for the year 2022/23 in accordance with Sections 31 to 36 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 and the Localism Act 2011 (as outlined at Appendix B of the presented agenda report):
